Relief pitcher Al Alburquerque and the Detroit Tigers have reached agreement on a one-year contract.

The Tigers announced the deal Sunday. The right-hander was the last Tigers player left in salary arbitration.

The 28-year-old Alburquerque was 3-1 with a 2.51 ERA in 72 games last year for the AL Central champions. He made $837,500 last season and asked for $2.05 million this year, with the Tigers offered $1,375,000.
