CINCINNATI (AP) The Cincinnati Reds have called up right-hander Robert Stephenson to make his major league debut on Thursday in the final game of a series against the Philadelphia Phillies.

The 23-year-old pitcher was Cincinnati's first pick in the June 2011 amateur draft. He went 4-4 with a 4.04 ERA in 11 starts for Louisville last season - his first promotion to the Triple-A level - and will be the seventh Reds pitcher to make his big league debut in the last two seasons.

Charlie Morton is scheduled to pitch for the Phillies.

In a corresponding move on Monday, the Reds put right-hander Homer Bailey on the 15-day disabled list. He's expected back sometime in May after recovering from Tommy John surgery last season.
