Lin can crash at my place, A-Rod says

Alex Rodriguez's choice of roommate would throw everyone for a curve — the Yankee has a case of Linsanity, according to the New York Post.

"If he is still looking for a place to crash, he can crash at my apartment. Imagine the tabloids then," Rodriguez said of Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin. "The great thing about Linsanity is that it kind of reminds you how much fun the game can be."

Rodriguez was speaking at spring training in Tampa, Fla., and it seems he missed the news that the Harvard graduate had upgraded from sleeping on his brother's couch to a swanky pad at the W Hotel in Manhattan's Financial District.

His 1,182-square-foot (110-square-meter) condo at the Sunshine Select Residences is in addition to his new digs at the Trump Tower in White Plains, N.Y.

The two-bedroom W suite comes outfitted with over $30,000 worth of Tui Lifestyle furniture. Rents there range from $3,600 to $8,900 a month, according to Streeteasy.com.
