Washington ace Stephen Strasburg and White Sox star Chris Sale see who can become the first pitcher in the big leagues to reach 10 wins this year. Strasburg is 9-0 going into his start at Cincinnati, Sale takes a 9-1 mark into Detroit.

DOMINANT DODGER

Clayton Kershaw leads the majors with a 1.56 ERA, just a bit ahead of Jake Arrieta, and also tops baseball with 105 strikeouts going into his start against Atlanta at Dodger Stadium. The three-time Cy Young Award winner is 7-1 this year for Los Angeles.

WARMED UP

Cubs closer Hector Rondon is ready to pitch after missing a couple of days because of a sore lower back. Chicago has won nine of 10 going into its game vs. Arizona at Wrigley Field and leads the majors with a 38-15 record.

CHECK HIM

The Yankees will see how first baseman Mark Teixeira is feeling, a day after he made an early exit in Baltimore because of a problem in his right knee. Beset by injuries in recent years, he recently missed time because of neck spasms. He is hitting .180 and hasn't homered since mid-April.

GETTING THERE

Arizona righty Shelby Miller is set to throw in a game at extended spring training. He's been sidelined with a sprained index finger on his pitching hand. Miller is 1-6 with a 7.10 ERA in 10 starts in his first season with the Diamondbacks.
