Kershaw to start Game 1 of NLDS against Mets

LOS ANGELES (AP) Clayton Kershaw will start Game 1 of the upcoming National League Division Series for the Los Angeles Dodgers against the New York Mets.

The Dodgers announced their rotation for the first three games of the best-of-5 series Tuesday after the team held a workout.

Kershaw (16-7) will oppose Jacob deGrom of the Mets in Friday's playoff opener at Dodger Stadium.

Zack Greinke (19-3) will take the mound for Game 2 on Saturday against rookie right-hander Noah Syndergaard.

Left-hander Brett Anderson (10-9) will start for the Dodgers when the series shifts to New York for Game 3 next Monday against Matt Harvey.
