Indians SS Francisco Lindor debuted these custom 'Believeland' cleats for ALCS

The Cleveland Indians are looking to extend the "Summer of Cleveland" deep into October and add even more meaning to the city's new moniker, "Believeland."

The phrase was made popular during the Cavaliers' improbable NBA Finals comeback, and now Terry Francona's scrappy Indians have embraced the moniker during their impressive postseason run.

And on Friday, Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor took it to another level.

For Game 1 of the ALCS against the Toronto Blue Jays, Lindor debuted custom-made "BelieveLand" cleats.

And if the cleats weren't awesome enough on their own, they might have helped power Cleveland to the 2-0 victory -- as Lindor was wearing them when he smashed a two-run homer in the sixth off of Blue Jays starter Marco Estrada.

When asked about the cleats after the game, Lindor said, "They were custom made with Cleveland's skyline on them. ... I believe in my team. I believe in my city. And it's cool. [They're] cool shoes and I believe. I believe in my team. I believe in what we have, the glory is God's. We're just trying to do our thing."

If the Indians believe they have what it takes to be champions, maybe it will eventually ring true.

After all, it worked for the Cavs, and King James himself was in the house for Game 2 of the ALDS and proclaimed that it's the Tribe's turn now.
