This is just the way things are going for the Boston Red Sox lately.

With the Chicago White Sox leading by five runs in the seventh inning Tuesday night, Geovany Soto launched this solo blast over the Green Monster.

Of course, to add insult to injury, it landed squarely on a soon-to-be-sad individual's windshield:

The White Sox won 9-4 as the Red Sox fell to 44-57 on the season.
