Fowler helps Rockies top Padres

Dexter Fowler had three hits and scored twice, and the Colorado Rockies won 5-4 on Saturday night to hand the San Diego Padres their ninth consecutive loss.

Troy Tulowitzki and Todd Helton each had two hits and a drove in a run for the Rockies, who finished with 11 hits.

Fowler, who tripled in the series opener on Friday night, had a pair of doubles and has six extra-base hits in his last four games. The speedy center fielder has 26 extra-base hits in 47 games since being recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs on July 15.
