Eduardo Nunez had no business catching this foul ball

Eduardo Nunez made an insane catch on Saturday night that he had absolutely no business catching.

In the third inning, when Carlos Asuaje popped up a 1–0 pitch behind the plate, Nunez saw catcher Bustey Posey struggle to spot the ball. It was then that Nunez, who was all the way back playing even with the third base bag, sprinted in to help Posey out.

He arrived in time to make a spectacular running catch.

Afterward, Posey and pitcher Madison Bumgarner made sure to thank him. They really ought to buy him a gift card or something after the game.
