KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) Chicago White Sox center fielder Adam Eaton jammed his left shoulder falling to the turf while catching Ben Zobrist's deep fly ball in the fourth inning Friday night against the Kansas City Royals.

Eaton, who leads the American League with 20 runs scored after the All-Star break, was led off the field by trainer Herm Schneider. Eaton entered the game hitting .375 with a .494 on-base percentage since the break.

He was replaced by rookie Trayce Thompson, the brother of Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson.
