Duvall homers, drives in 4 as Reds beat Brewers
PHOENIX (AP) Adam Duvall homered and drove in four runs Tuesday, leading the Cincinnati Reds over the Milwaukee Brewers 9-2.
Jordan Pacheco had a single and an RBI double before following Duvall's homer with a solo shot in the ninth. Duvall is hitting .328 this spring and Pacheco is at .326.
Wily Peralta, who will start for the Brewers on opening day against San Francisco at Miller Park on April 4, gave up six hits in four innings.
Peralta allowed three runs, all of them unearned. Milwaukee second baseman Colin Walsh made three errors.
Aaron Hill, who came into the game with six hits in 43 spring at-bats, got three hits for Milwaukee. Ryan Braun, who sat out for a week with soreness in his surgically repaired back, was 0 for 3 with two strikeouts in his return to the lineup.
Ross Ohlendorf, who signed with the Reds on Saturday, pitched for the first time and allowed one hit while getting two outs.
