Dodgers beat Nats 7-4 in Game 1; 2nd game ppd

The second game of Thursday's doubleheader between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Nationals has been postponed because of rain.

The game will be replayed only if needed to decide a playoff race at the end of the season.

The doubleheader was scheduled after Wednesday's game was rained out.

The Dodgers won the first game 7-4 on Tony Gwynn's tiebreaking double in the ninth inning.
