Arizona Diamondbacks bench coach Alan Trammell was ejected in the sixth inning of a game against the St. Louis Cardinals for arguing from the dugout on Tuesday night.
Trammell was ejected during a pitching change by third-base umpire Jordan Baker.
Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson came out to argue earlier in the inning after Cardinals outfielder Carlos Beltran was ruled safe when he stole third base with two outs.
It was the third ejection of the season for the Diamondbacks. Gibson and outfielder Cody Ross were tossed on April 20 at Colorado.
