CM Punk calls out LeBron James for being a bandwagon fan

At the Chicago Cubs World Series parade, CM Punk called out LeBron James by saying he’s a bandwagon fan.

It’s fun and easy to hate on LeBron James. Whether it’s because he went to the Miami Heat or because coverage of him is ridiculous, fans love to hate King James. Chicago Cubs fan CM Punk took it one step further during the Cubs World Series parade. While providing commentary for it, the UFC star called out LeBron for being a bandwagon.

Punk is a proud Chicago sports fan. He has been a longtime supporter of the Chicago Blackhawks and Cubs. On the other hand, LeBron is well known for being a New York Yankees fan. He has been seen at Cleveland Indians games wearing a Yankees hat. However, he was one of the leaders of the Indians bandwagon during their World Series run. The Cubs beat the Indians in seven games to win their first Fall Classic since 1908.

Chicago will be celebrating their fifth professional sports title since 2005. The Chicago White Sox won the World Series in 2005. Meanwhile, the Chicago Blackhawks have won the Stanley Cup three times in 2009-10, 2012-13, and 2014-15. Five titles in just over a decade is pretty darn impressive, even for a five team city.

Punk is a former WWE superstar who is currently in the UFC. He lost his debut match in the first round, but says he’ll continue to fight. Punk left the WWE because of reported issues with the company and his contract.

Meanwhile, LeBron is probably too busy trying to defend his NBA title to care much about what Punk thinks about him. King James did the unthinkable and won a championship for the city of Cleveland. Unfortunately, the Indians couldn’t do the same, as they ironically blew a 3-1 lead to the Chicago Cubs.
