ChiSox bolster bullpen, add Ohman

The Chicago White Sox have agreed to a two-year, $4 million contract with left-handed reliever Will Ohman, a major-league source confirmed to FOXSports.com.

Ohman went 0-2 with a 3.21 ERA in 68 relief appearances last year for the Baltimore Orioles and Florida Marlins.

Ohman will provide welcome depth for a White Sox bullpen that lacks an established closer. Jesse Crain, Matt Thornton and Chris Sale are the internal options to pitch the ninth inning. Sources said this week that the club is unlikely to pursue Rafael Soriano, the top reliever remaining on the free-agent market.
