Brewers' Cotts gaining trade value

If Neal Cotts keeps pitching the way he has been, he may turn himself into a player the Brewers could consider moving at the Trade Deadline.

The left-hander hasn't allowed a run in 12 of his last 13 outings, according to Brewers.com, and credits a slight mechanical adjustment for the recent run of success.

"I think I ironed out a little mechanically," Cotts told Brewers.com. "It was maybe just slowing down a little bit. My alignment toward the plate has been a little bit better. I fought that a little bit early, and I think my velocity was down a bit because of that. I felt great early, my arm felt good, but stuff wasn't coming out like it should.

"It was just kind of a thought thing. It wasn't like an overhaul."
