ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Braves have recalled top-pitching prospect Matt Wisler from Triple-A Gwinnett to make his major-league debut in Friday night's start against the New York Mets.

Wisler was acquired with center fielder Cameron Maybin and others in the deal that sent closer Craig Kimbrel and outfielder Melvin Upton to San Diego on April 5. Wisler was ranked as San Diego's top prospect.

The 22-year-old Wisler was 3-4 with a 4.29 ERA in 12 starts for Gwinnett. He gave up seven runs in 3 2/3 innings at Indianapolis in his last start.
