Blue Jays' Dickey goes on bereavement list

TORONTO (AP) The Toronto Blue Jays have placed pitcher R.A. Dickey on the bereavement list following his father's death.

Harry Lee Dickey died Tuesday at 63.

R.A. Dickey went 7 1/3 innings and allowed one run in Toronto's 7-1 home victory Thursday night over the New York Mets.

Toronto also recalled infielder Munenori Kawasaki from Triple-A Buffalo.
