Adrian Gonzalez ruled out at home after a controversial replay review

In the bottom of the second inning of Game 4 of the NLCS, with the game tied 0-0, two outs, runners on 1st and 2nd -- Dodgers outfielder Andrew Toles roped a single to right field.

Adrian Gonzalez was sent home by third base coach Chris Woodward, and he was tagged at the plate by Cubs catcher Wilson Contreras at the exact second Gonzalez touched the plate. Gonzalez was ruled out.

The play was reviewed for several minutes by MLB's replay center in New York, and during the review Gonzalez was seen on the broadcast yelling at the umpires:

"Don't mess this up, New York ... Hey, TV's got safe. FOX has safe. Let's go!"

Ultimately the original ruling was not overturned despite legitimate evidence that Gonzalez may have beaten the tag, and he and Dodgers manager Dave Roberts couldn't believe it.

Several MLB superstars also took to Twitter to voice their displeasure with the decision:

Instead of having a 1-0 lead with runners on first and second, the score remaining tied at 0-0. A simply massive decision that may (or may not) have a significant impact on the rest of the MLB postseason.
