An incredibly special scene occurred at Davis Wade Stadium on Saturday before Mississippi State played host to Alabama.

The family of former Bulldogs football player (and current member of the Army) Tim Bailey was standing in the middle of the field prior to the start of the contest. Completely unaware, Bailey surprised his family in an emotional embrace.

Bailey had previously been a defensive end for the Bulldogs in 2006-07. A junior college transfer, Bailey served in Iraq for 18 months in 2004 and 2005 with the Mississippi National Guard unit.
