Impact Bothwell struggled to get things going in the Mayo Bowl defeat to the Demon Deacons, averaging just 2.7 yards per carry and totaling a measly 38 yards. The sophomore ball carrier will now close out the 2025 campaign with 142 rushes for 677 yards and six touchdowns. He'll have two years of eligibility remaining if he chooses to run it back with the Bulldogs.

Brenen Thompson - Hits century mark in bowl loss Thompson posted four receptions (on seven targets) for 106 yards during Friday's 43-29 loss to Wake Forest.

Impact Thompson led the Bulldogs' receiving corps in the loss to the Deacons, and he surpassed 100 yards for the fourth time this campaign. The senior wide receiver took a big jump after transferring into Mississippi State this offseason. In the 2025 season, Thompson caught 57 passes for 1,054 yards and six touchdowns. He's likely to now give the NFL Draft a shot after using up all of his collegiate eligibility.
