TE Bucky Hodges officially signs with Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings have inked another player from their 2017 draft class: tight end Bucky Hodges, who signed Tuesday.

Hodges, a sixth-round pick out of Virginia Tech, racked up 133 receptions for 1,747 yards and 20 touchdowns in his collegiate career. All three of those statistics are school records for a Hokies tight end.

He now officially joins the tight-end ranks of Kyle Rudolph and David Morgan on the Vikings offense.

Hodges is the sixth out of 11 Vikings draft picks to sign with the team. Wide receiver Rodney Adams, defensive linemen Ifeadi Odenigbo and Jaleel Johnson, linebacker Ben Gedeon and offensive lineman Danny Isidora signed with Minnesota last week.
