After near-disasters from Ohio State and Michigan and losses for Louisville and West Virginia, there's a new look to this week's top 10.

The Sooners notched their best win of the season in the snow at West Virginia. Their offense is terrific, but their defense still leaves a lot to be desired. At least they got a bunch of turnovers.

Nice win for Colorado handling an explosive Washington State team that had come to Boulder on a tear. The win should lock up Pac-12 Coach of the Year honors for Mike MacIntyre and maybe national COY honors too.

Oklahoma State (9-2)
Mike Gundy’s team dominated at TCU, holding the Horned Frogs to just six points while also displaying a potent running game. OSU does have a decent non-conference win over Pitt and I think more upward mobility than arch-rival Oklahoma since I feel like the Sooners are capped by their huge loss at home against Ohio State, where if the Cowboys come into Norman at Bedlam and win, it would match what the Buckeyes have done — and would include a conference title.

Penn State (9-2)
James Franklin’s team rolls on, crushing Rutgers, 39-0, in a game where they outgained the Scarlet Knights 549-87. Next up is a tricky game against Michigan State. A win for PSU would give the Nittany Lions the Big Ten East if Ohio State can knock off Michigan.

The Badgers blew out Purdue 49-20 on the road. They have Minnesota next. A win or a Nebraska loss to Iowa will give them the Big Ten West crown.

Nice bounce-back from the Huskies blasting a mediocre Arizona State team, 44-18. If the Huskies win out, I think they’ll make the Final Four, but a trip to Pullman to play Washington State on Friday won’t be easy.

Ohio State (10-1)
With Michigan looming, the Buckeyes barely escaped against a struggling Michigan State squad, 17-16. I still believe that Ohio State is in great shape if the Buckeyes can defeat Michigan again ... even if they don't win the Big Ten East and Penn State does.

Wayne Gallman pounded the Wake Forest defense for 161 rushing yards in a 35-13 win. Next up is rival South Carolina.

It wasn’t pretty, especially with John O’Korn and the Wolverines passing game struggling to get the ball downfield, but Michigan defeated Indiana 20-10 behind a strong game from DeVeon Smith as it prepares for the huge game at Ohio State. The Wolverines' early-season win over Colorado also keeps looking better and better, as does their blowout of Penn State.

The Tide had little trouble belting FCS Chattanooga, 31-3. Alabama’s defense has not allowed a touchdown in the last 207 minutes and 54 seconds of game action, dating back to the third quarter of the Texas A&M game (Oct. 22).
