Richie Incognito congratulated Dan Campbell on becoming Dolphins HC

Richie Incognito has emerged as one of the best guards in the NFL in his first season with the Buffalo Bills, but before flipping sides in the AFC East, he spent four seasons with the Miami Dolphins.

During his time in Miami, he spent time with then-tight ends coach Dan Campbell. He obviously wasn't coached by him directly, but Incognito had a relationship with the coach.

When Campbell was tapped as the Dolphins' next head coach, Incognito congratulated him on the promotion.

"I love Dan. Dan started in the offensive line room, he started as an assistant offensive line coach," Incognito said in an appearance on The John Murphy Show. "He’s a genuine, energetic, hard-working guy’s guy.

"I spoke with a bunch of guys (on the Dolphins) and they love playing for him. I even spoke to Dan himself to congratulate him on getting the job. It will be interesting to see which Miami Dolphins team shows up."

It was a kind gesture by Incognito, but he'll go to war against Campbell and his former team on Sunday. He's arguably a better player now than he was in Miami, which could give guys like Earl Mitchell and Ndamukong Suh fits on the inside.
