ImpactCastleton had a limited impact offensively Wednesday, but he was a productive defender off the bench, tying for the team lead in rebounds while also posting a team-high mark in blocks. The 23-year-old is with the Lakers on a two-way deal but also impressed during Summer League play, so it's possible he earns some minutes in Los Angeles' rotation at some point this year.

ImpactLyles had more looks from the floor Wednesday after logging just three field-goal attempts during Sunday's preseason opener against the Raptors. However, he wasn't particularly efficient and finished with just five points for a second consecutive matchup. Lyles averaged 7.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in 16.9 minutes per game over 74 appearances with the Kings last year, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him with a similar role during the 2023-24 campaign.

ImpactSabonis posted a fairly well-rounded stat line during Sunday's preseason opener against the Raptors, but he saw increased playing time Wednesday and posted a solid double-double against the Lakers. The 27-year-old played through a fractured thumb over the second half of the 2022-23 campaign but was still a stellar contributor, averaging 19.1 points, 12.3 rebounds and 7.3 assists in 34.6 minutes per game over 79 appearances. He indicated in early October that he's fully healthy, so it seems unlikely that he'll face any restrictions to begin the regular season.

ImpactDuarte was limited to just four points while missing all six of his attempts from beyond the arc during Sacramento's preseason opener, but he was much more efficient Wednesday and also managed to contribute in some secondary categories. The 26-year-old was traded from Indiana to Sacramento at the end of June after averaging 7.9 points and 2.5 rebounds in 19.5 minutes per game over 46 appearances with the Pacers last year. He should have an opportunity to carve out reserve minutes on the wing with his new team once the regular season begins.
