Deni Avdija - Puts up 14 points in lossAvdija racked up 14 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and three assists in 24 minutes during Friday's 121-114 loss to the Heat.
ImpactAvdija is clearly behind Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole in terms of shot opportunities in Washington's offense, but he's proven capable of contributing as a scorer with four straight double-digit point efforts. The fourth-year forward has made at least half of his field-goal tries in all but one of his five games this season and is shooting an efficient 56 percent from the field overall. Avdija's per-game numbers include 13.2 points, 5.8 boards, 2.8 assists, 1.2 triples and 1.0 steals.

Jordan Poole - Racks up four steals FridayPoole supplied 19 points (8-14 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), one rebound, six assists and four steals in 28 minutes during Friday's 121-114 loss to the Heat.
ImpactPoole finished as Washington's second-leading scorer behind Kyle Kuzma, who tallied 22 points. Poole's production was more efficient than Kuzma's, however, as he made as many field-goals (eight) as Kuzma on five fewer attempts. Poole was particularly sharp from deep, knocking down three of four three-point tries. Given his efficiency and the fact that he added season-best marks in assists (six) and thefts (four), this was arguably Poole's finest game in a Wizards uniform thus far.

Kyle Kuzma - Paces team in scoring in lossKuzma recorded 22 points (8-19 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and three assists across 31 minutes during Friday's 121-114 loss to Miami.
ImpactKuzma didn't shoot particularly well overall and committed five turnovers, but he led Washington in scoring on the strength of a 4-for-9 mark from three-point range. The seventh-year forward has exceeded the 20-point mark in each of his five contests so far this season and leads the Wizards with an average of 22.8 points per game on the campaign. Kuzma should be able to continue that level of production as Washington's centerpiece on offense now that Bradley Beal is in Phoenix.

Jimmy Butler - Scores 20 efficient points in winButler registered 20 points (7-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and three steals over 31 minutes during Friday's 121-114 win over Washington.
ImpactButler took just 11 field-goal attempts over 31 minutes, but he still reached the 20-point mark thanks to an efficient shooting effort. The star forward has been battling a knee issue for most of the season but has missed just one game and has now logged consecutive 20-point performances. Butler's overall early-season numbers (17.2 points on 40.3 percent shooting from the field, 7.2 boards, 3.2 assists and 1.2 steals) are a bit down in comparison to recent campaigns, but there's no reason to panic given his career-long consistency.

Duncan Robinson - Tallies season-best stat lineRobinson contributed 18 points (7-11 FG, 4-8 3Pt), one rebound, six assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Friday's 121-114 win over the Wizards.
ImpactRobinson struggled over Miami's first five games of the campaign, averaging 10.4 points on 42.6 percent shooting with minimal complementary stats. However, the sixth-year shooting guard was a big contributor in Friday's victory, leading the Heat's reserves in scoring on the strength of a 4-for-8 performance from beyond the arc. Robinson also finished with a season-high six dimes after he had totaled just five assists over his first five contests. The Michigan product hasn't lacked for opportunity this season -- he's played at least 21 minutes in each game thus far -- but he'll need to have more performances like Friday's to emerge as a reliable fantasy asset.

Tyler Herro - Nearly notches triple-doubleHerro finished with 24 points (9-17 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, nine assists and two steals in 37 minutes during Friday's 121-114 win over the Wizards.
ImpactHerro led Miami in points, rebounds and assists while finishing just one dime shy of a triple-double. The sharpshooting guard was an efficient 4-for-7 from beyond the arc, and he's now knocked down at least four triples in four of his six games this season. Herro has taken his game up another level during the early part of the campaign, averaging 25.8 points, 5.7 boards, 5.0 assists, 3.8 three-pointers and 1.2 steals while shooting 45.1 percent from deep and 45.3 percent overall from the field through six games.
