Amen Thompson - Recalled to NBAThe Rockets recalled Thompson (ankle) for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the G League on Saturday, Adam Wexler of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
ImpactThompson lasted saw NBA action on Nov. 1 before suffering a right ankle sprain. However, the rookie guard played for the Vipers on Wednesday and appears set to make his return to the Rockets. Thompson's next chance to suit up will be Monday's matchup with San Antonio.

Christian Braun - Disappoints in loss FridayBraun ended Friday's 114-106 loss to the Rockets with two points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and two steals over 14 minutes.
ImpactBraun managed just two points in 14 minutes, the fewest he has scored in almost two weeks. He has played fewer than 20 minutes in five of the past six games, struggling to maintain a consistent role. It is unclear what his exact role is moving forward, and the improved play of Peyton Watson only complicates matters. At this point, Braun does not need to be rostered outside of deeper formats.

Peyton Watson - Logs season-high 26 minutesWatson closed Friday's 114-106 loss to the Rockets with 13 points (4-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds and two assists over 26 minutes.
ImpactWatson scored 13 points in the loss, logging a season-high 26 minutes. He played over Aaron Gordon here, a situation worth monitoring moving forward. Watson has a fantasy-friendly game and at this point, needs more playing time. Gordon has been struggling thus far but should eventually turn things around. Watson isn't someone who needs to be prioritized in standard leagues but is worth keeping an eye on.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope - Scores empty 14 pointsCaldwell-Pope contributed 14 points (5-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and one block over 25 minutes during Friday's 114-106 loss to the Rockets.
ImpactCaldwell-Pope scored 14 points in the loss but added very little else. It's been another serviceable season for the veteran, moving on and off waiver wires daily. His role typically affords him enough opportunity to put up 12-team numbers. Unfortunately, he is such a low-volume producer that he is much better suited for roto formats than category leagues.

Jeff Green - Sees extended minutes in winGreen amassed five points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 27 minutes during Friday's 114-106 victory over the Nuggets.
ImpactGreen was back in the lineup after missing the previous game due to personal reasons, playing a season-high 27 minutes. Although he didn't do much from a production standpoint, his in-depth knowledge of the Nuggets may have played a part in his expanded role. Given he is outside the top 300 in standard leagues this season, there is no reason to think this turns into anything tangible.

Jalen Green - Strong offneisve showingGreen closed Friday's 114-106 victory over the Nuggets with 25 points (8-17 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 7-9 FT), three rebounds and one assist over 35 minutes.
ImpactGreen scored at least 20 points for just the second time in the past five games, helping the Rockets to an impressive road victory. He currently sits outside the top 200 in nine-category leagues, thanks largely to the fact he is shooting just 42.7 percent from the field, adding 0.5 steals per game. He remains a must-roster player but is better suited for points leagues and those punting percentages.

Fred VanVleet - Scores season-high 26 pointsVanVleet finished Friday's 114-106 victory over the Nuggets with 26 points (6-17 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 10-13 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one block across 40 minutes.
ImpactVanVleet let his scoring do the talking Friday, leading the way with a team-high 26 points, including four three-pointers. While it has been a strong season for VanVleet, his defensive numbers are a little concerning. Currently, he is averaging just 0.8 steals per game, well below what he has put up in the past. If he can get back to at least 1.2 per game, he should be able to push for another top-30 season.
