Saints CB Porter hurts right leg

Published Sep. 26, 2010 8:11 p.m. ET

Saints starting cornerback Tracy Porter went to the sideline with an undisclosed right leg injury during the first half of New Orleans' home game Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.

Trainers started looking at Porter during the first quarter. Porter then spent much of the first half pedaling a stationary exercise bike, remaining in uniform.

The Saints had no immediate update on Porter's condition or whether he would return for the second half. He remained in uniform on the sideline during the third quarter, stretching constantly. Since Porter has gone out, rookie cornerback Patrick Robinson has handled the position.
