NFL Week 2 odds: Odds for each game

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

The NFL Week 2 odds for each game are out, and after the Week 1 results NFL fans now know once again that this season is seemingly wide open for any team to make a postseason push.

The Week 2 NFL odds have been posted by many of the Vegas sports books already, but on the heels of a few upsets, this week may be just as tough to predict. First off, the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos proved to the entire AFC that they aren’t taking a step backwards, even if Las Vegas sports books believe they are.

With a very inexperienced quarterback and a semi-revamped offensive line, the Denver Broncos still had their way with the Carolina Panthers last week. Just like in Super Bowl 50, they did it with defense. The Broncos trailed 17-7 at the half, but the defense toughened up in the second half holding Carolina to just 3 points as the Broncos rallied for 21-20 win.

Trevor Siemian looked pretty darn good in his NFL debut for the Broncos and he may make fans forget about Peyton Manning quickly – that is if he can continue to win games. Siemian knows he is under a huge spotlight taking over for Manning, however, if he gets better each week, the Broncos will be a better team than many experts predicted.

Speaking of proving the experts wrong, the New England Patriots are one happy team heading into Week 2.

Predicted to win by practically no one, the Pats, minus Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski proved how deep their team is Sunday night by beat the Arizona Cardinals in the desert 23-21. It seems you just can’t count out the Patriots, ever!

Other upset wins by underdog teams include Detroit beating Indianapolis 39-35, and the Oakland Raiders edging the New Orleans Saints 35-34.

Now it is on to Week 2.

Will the Lions, Texans and Raiders move to 2-0 on the season? Will the Patriots do the same without Tom Brady and possibly Gronk? Vegas line makers think so!

Here is a look at the complete Week 2 schedule, start times and Las Vegas odds.
