On Saturday, Philadelphia 76ers rookie Jahlil Okafor was the man of the hour at the team's Beach Bash, a fun event that allowed players past and present to meet and mingle with fans.

Okafor showed why he's more than just a really good basketball player, and naturally carried out the typical off-court responsibilities that come with being a franchise centerpiece.

And it was hilarious.

As the third overall pick in the draft, the 19-year-old has high expectations, and some parts of his game are already the source of criticism.

But if you ask the kid in this video about Okafor's effort and defensive ability, you'll get two thumbs up.
