Watch Blake Griffin hit an alley-oop three-pointer to beat the shot clock

Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin is a much improved outside shooter this season, bumping his shooting from 16-24 feet up to 46.7 percent, which puts him ahead of even Dirk Nowitzki (45.8 percent).
As he's expanded his game, the co-captain of Lob City hasn't finished as many alley-oops as he used to. But if you throw Griffin an oop, he's still capable of finding a way to score.
In the third quarter of the Clippers' much-needed 111-94 victory over the Denver Nuggets, Griffin caught a pass from Wesley Johnson in the air and knocked down a shot-clock-beating 3-pointer, all in one motion:
The logical next step in Griffin's evolution is taking more 3-pointers. That hasn't transpired yet, as he's only attempted 9 three-pointers in 14 games (0.6 per game). But if that shot and his success from mid-range is any indication, Griffin might be ready to put his soft stroke to use from deep.
Alley-oop three pointers are a thing now. ?#BlakeDoingBlakeThings https://t.co/Vl6U7bb21G
