Wade: LeBron made Olympics look easy

Published Aug. 17, 2012 1:00 a.m. ET

Dwyane Wade says he looked at what LeBron James did for USA Basketball this summer and marveled.

Wade was a spectator instead of a teammate when the U.S. won its second straight Olympic gold medal. Wade could not play while recovering from knee surgery but was in London for part of the Olympic tournament, and he says James made playing at a high level seem ''effortless.''

Wade, James and the rest of the Miami Heat will open training camp late next month, when the official defense of the team's NBA championship begins.

Wade is hosting a NBA fantasy camp this weekend for people who spent $12,500 to get coached by, among others, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra and Indiana's Tom Crean - who coached Wade at Marquette.
