Does OKC deserve to be 2-0?
“My apologies for a lack of details, but I spent much of this one with my eyes shut in frustration. Between turnovers, blown lay-ups, and 3-point brick after 3-point brick, (note the 23.8% gem from beyond the arc), it was a very difficult game to watch.”
RK Anthony hit it right on the ail when he typed “The Thunder are 2 and 0, and I am not going to sugar-coat it. I don’t know why.” They did not look good last night, reverting back to the same isolation basketball they played with [REDACTED]. At least this time Victor Oladipo played the role of [REDACTED].

Russell Westbrook is the king of basketball
“The Thunder superstar reached a rare milestone Friday, recording the first 50-point triple-double in league history since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 1975. Think about that a second. It’s been more than 40 years since someone got 50 in a triple-double performance, and the guy who did it is the league’s career points leader — yet another example of Westbrook’s unique qualities.”

Whenever you do something not done since Kareem, you deserve a special shoutout in this roundup. If you haven’t heard, Russ finished with 52 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. Am I mad about 44 shots? I could care less, especially in a night when the offense had zero cohesion.
Russell Westbrook is the king of basketball off the court too
“Westbrook grooves to the Lil Uzi Vert song “Do What I Want” with his brother Raynard and a handful of Thunder fans. The musical selection is a callback to Westbrook’s Aug. 19 Instagram post in which he is singing along to the same tune while in a car.”
Nothing makes me happier than the face Russ makes when he lip-raps “Now I do what I want.” Russ danced alongside professional dancers and looked as good, if not better, than all of them. But me telling you about it isn’t interesting. Just watch the dang video.
