Trail Blazer Damian Lillard's response to Team USA cut is out of this world

Even NBA All-Stars can get cut sometimes. Like guard Damian Lillard, who was just let go from the USA squad. 

But the Portland Trail Blazer guard wasn't about to drown himself in a pool of sorrows over the decision. In fact, he's already over it. It's already long ago and a galaxy far far away. 

When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade. Or you make a witty social media post to show how cool of a cat you really are. 

Here's what Lillard posted on his Instagram account on Saturday: 

The caption reads, "This is team USA letting me go. My head up, spirits up, and I'm going back to work. #TeamAdidas #JustGetBetter #WoodOnTheFire"
