Tim Hardaway Jr. injures wrist against Phoenix Suns

The New York Knicks have dealt with injuries all season. Now, they have another one on their hands.
That tweet game during halftime of the Knicks' Sunday evening loss to the Phoenix Suns, dropping New York to an NBA-worst 13-53 on the season.
Hardaway took a funky fall during the first half of that game and left shortly after.
"I kind of fell on top of [my wrist]," he described after Sunday's accident, via the Knicks' team website. "I think my legs got swept from under me after a lay-in. I just tried to brace myself."
Hardaway did say he underwent x-rays after sustaining the injury. Those came out negative. This isn't the first time he has suffered a wrist injury, either. He once endured a similar one playing in Las Vegas Summer League.
"This feels the same, exactly the same," he said, comparing Sunday's injury to the one he had back in Vegas.
It's terrible timing for Hardaway, whose potential absence doesn't make much of a difference for a team that's already mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, but who reigns in a 23rd birthday Monday. This is no way to celebrate.
The team is yet to update on Hardaway's condition moving forward, though the second-year shooting guard does say he hopes to play Tuesday when the Knicks welcome in the San Antonio Spurs.
