Thunder ship C Mullens to D-League

The Oklahoma City Thunder have assigned second-year center Byron Mullens to their Tulsa affiliate in the NBA Development League.

Mullens has played a total of 14 minutes in five games this season for the Thunder, who recently recalled rookie center Cole Aldrich from the D-League.

Mullens, the 24th overall pick in the 2009 draft, played 27 games in the minors last season. He's expected to report to Tulsa in time for a game Friday night at Sioux Falls.
