The Timberwolves worked out Jahlil Okafor

There are two players the Minnesota Timberwolves will likely choose between with the first overall pick in next week's draft: Karl-Anthony Towns and Jahlil Okafor.
According to St. Paul Pioneer Press' Andy Greder, Okafor is the first one of the two they'll get a first-hand look at:
"Duke center Jahlil Okafor was in Minneapolis for a private workout with the Timberwolves on Wednesday, and Kentucky big man Karl-Anthony Towns could visit sometime in the next week, according to Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor. But Taylor didn't divulge Wednesday which player the Wolves will take with the first pick in the NBA draft on June 25. 'I will find out about the time that you find out,' Taylor joked during the grand opening of the franchise's new practice facility and offices."
The Timberwolves may be tempted by Okafor's dominant work in the low post, but taking him with the first overall pick would be a mistake. Selecting Towns should be a slam dunk. The fact that it's not is a testament to the lack of confidence some have in president Flip Saunders.
