Suns waive center Henry Sims, reduce roster to 14

PHOENIX (AP) The Phoenix Suns have waived center Henry Sims, reducing their roster to 14.

The 6-foot-10 Sims signed with the Suns on Sept. 16. He appeared in all six Phoenix preseason games, scoring 10 points in 28 minutes.

The Suns open their season Wednesday night at home against Dallas.

The roster:

Guards Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight, Devin Booker, Archie Goodwin, Ronnie Price

Guard/Forward Sonny Weems

Forwards Markieff Morris, P.J. Tucker, T.J. Warren, Cory Jefferson, Jon Leuer, Mirza Teletovic

Centers Tyson Chandler, Alex Len
