Shoulder injury sidelines Nuggets' Lawson

DENVER (AP) Nuggets guard Ty Lawson was ruled out of Wednesday night's game against the Charlotte Bobcats because of a left rotator cuff strain.

The Nuggets' leading scorer, Lawson is characterized as day to day by the team. He's averaging 17.9 points and 8.9 assists.

Lawson suffered the injury late in Denver's win Sunday at Sacramento. He finished with a team-leading 27 points and six assists.
