The Kings continue to play gritty basketball against their opponents. Tonight, Sacramento was able to pull off a late rally in the fourth quarter, but Rudy Gay couldn’t hit the game-winning shot that eventually forced overtime.

By this time, Kings’ All-Star, DeMarcus Cousins, was fouled out of the game which resulted in the Kings being dismantled by the Heat in their overtime period, being outscored 17-5.

Overall, the Kings played solid basketball tonight, but their perimeter shooting, careless turnovers, and their misfortune with the referees caused them to fall short.

The next game for Sacramento will take place in Milwaukee on Thursday night as they play against the Bucks.

Notable performances from the Kings’ roster tonight were Rudy Gay who recorded 30 points and 12 rebounds, Arron Afflalo who scored 18 points, and DeMarcus Cousins who scored 30 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.
