Sacramento Kings Get Overwhelmed By The Magic


The Sacramento Kings haven’t fared well on their current road trip as they lost their third consecutive game this afternoon to the Orlando Magic by a score of 102-94.
Notable players from Orlando today were Evan Fournier who scored 29 points, Aaron Gordon who recorded 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Serge Ibaka who scored 17 points.
Notable performances from Sacramento were DeMarcus Cousins who scored 33 points, Ty Lawson who recorded 11 points and 5 assists, and Rudy Gay who scored 16 points.
So far this season, the Kings remain to be competitive with their opponents throughout games, but the team is still in the process of learning how to finish the right way.
The offense wasn’t an issue for the Kings today. As a collective whole, Sacramento shot 47% from the court and 38.9% from the perimeter, but they also allowed Orlando to score over 100 points off shooting a tick over 45% from the court.
Turnovers also continue to be an issue for the Kings as they turned the ball over 14 times today, and as a result, the Magic scored 23 points off turnovers.
Sacramento currently has a record of 2-4 and now have fallen 2 ½ games back in the playoff picture. The purple and white will have a chance on Saturday night to redeem themselves as they face the Bucks in Milwaukee.
