Rockets mascot plays it cool after draining backwards halfcourt shot

Maybe the Houston Rockets mascot is taking tips from Dwight Howard, who at a recent practice hit a backwards shot all the way from the opposite free throw line. That one, however, wasn't accomplished with thousands of people watching.

This one, of the backwards halfcourt variety on Sunday during a timeout of the Rockets' win against the Miami Heat, was. And it was sensational.

Here's Howard's ridiculous shot he made at practice. With any luck, the Rockets mascot is not taking tips from Howard on the art of shooting free throws.
