Rockets forward Sam Dekker destroys Twitter troll
This time last year, Houston Rockets forward Sam Dekker was driving his Wisconsin Badgers to a second-straight Final Four.
And while the Badgers lost in the 2015 title game to Duke, there was a lot to be proud of for the future No. 18 overall pick.
Apparently, one Twitter user didn't think Dekker accomplished much though.
Dekker, keeping an eye on the Villanova-Iowa blowout, tweeted this Sunday afternoon:
Time for Iowa to pass the sticks ?? #30ball

A "fan" not thinking it was all that appropriate for Dekker to be commenting (and devoid of an understanding of irony) replied to the tweet with one of his own, saying "remember when you lost in the championship game last year. Oh and the final four the year before. LOL"
Dekker's response was a walk-off, a mic drop, a slam dunk -- insert your metaphor here.
remember being on your couch watching me out there? https://t.co/gCyYqzuFWA

Dekker hasn't made much of a dent for the Rockets this season, as he's been dealing with a back injury, but between this shut-down and his tweeting of Dwight Howard's senior photo, one could say he's made an impact.
Found this on dwights iPad. Why this guy taking senior pictures as a grown man ???? pic.twitter.com/XtOwysbPSm
