Rick Trotter, the former voice of the Grizzlies, in court Monday

The Memphis Grizzlies’ former voice, Rick Trotter, is in court Monday for taking illicit photos at a church he worked at.
Rick Trotter, who was the former voice of the Memphis Grizzlies, is appearing in court on Monday. Women voiced their concern of the former voice-man when he apparently took illicit pictures of the women while working at a church he was employed at. A total of four women have come forward saying that he took pictures of them without their permission. Authorities in Georgia are also investigating Trotter to see if he has committed any similar acts while he was employed at another church in Georgia, as reported by Fox 13 Memphis News.
Trotter voiced for the Memphis Grizzlies from 2005 to 2016 and was released when he was arrested on Aug. 9. He was fired from Downtown Church for conduct that was sexual in nature earlier in the year. It was while working as a pastor at Downtown Church, that he got caught. A church intern noticed a camera filming in the bathroom and in turn notified officials. The Commercial Appeal noted that according to one of the alleged victims, Trotter mounted his smartphone on a wall in the bathroom behind a bookcase during the summer of 2010. He then arranged items on the bookcase to hide the camera, the victim said. The bathroom was co-ed, and was apparently connected to a church office.
Trotter had won a contest to become the new announcer for the Memphis Grizzlies when John Paul Stevenson left for a job in Houston. In a 2015 interview with FanSided, he noted that he had been growing in popularity and fans around Memphis would point him out in different areas such as grocery stores.
His favorite phrase was “Shot Clock Violated!” Kind of ironic when he was the one violating people with his camera.
