Reports: Warriors, Nuggets offer up big names in pursuit of Kevin Love


With the NBA Draft now less than one week away, and with the latest injury to presumed No. 1 pick Joel Embiid potentially throwing the top of draft boards into chaos, reports of potential big-name deals are heating up.
And no name is hotter than Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love.
Love's presence in the trade rumor mill is nothing new — he has been the subject of trade speculation for years. But with Love eligible to opt out of his contract and become an unrestricted free agent after next season, and teams ramping up efforts to position themselves for the draft and for next season, Thursday brought with it a new wrinkle in the Love speculation.

The day began with reports from FOX Sports 1/Yahoo Sports NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski that Timberwolves president Flip Saunders was less than thrilled with offers made by Boston, Phoenix and Chicago. Additionally, the Boston Herald reported that both Denver and Golden State, with younger, more attractive trade pieces, could be the most likely potential suitors.
And as the day wore on, those exact trade pieces apparently came to light. Or did they?
