Report: Police pulled over Bynum twice

Published Dec. 28, 2011 12:00 a.m. ET

Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum was pulled over by police twice this week for traffic violations, TMZ reported, citing law enforcement sources.

On Tuesday, Los Angeles police issued Bynum with a ticket for driving without a license plate and having illegally tinted tail lights.

Then on Wednesday, he was cited and released for speeding in his Porsche 911.

The 24-year-old is currently serving a reduced four-game suspension for a flagrant foul against the Mavericks in last season's Western Conference semi-finals.

This isn't the first time this year Bynum has run into trouble while driving. This past summer, he allegedly was photographed twice parking a black BMW in spots reserved for disabled drivers in the Los Angeles suburb of Playa del Rey.

Bynum averaged 11.3 points and 9.4 rebounds a game last season for the Lakers.
