Report: Nets have interest in Shabazz Muhammad

Nets general manager Billy King has said on multiple occasions he is open to making deals throughout the season. Now, we might know who one of Brooklyn's targets is, according to Darren Wolfson of 1500ESPN in Minnesota:

Muhammad's name has come up in trade rumors for the past couple of days, but that's more on the side of teams wanting him than the Wolves wanting to trade him. Actually, reports have continually surfaced saying that Minnesota is unwilling to part with the 23-year-old wing at the moment.

Muhammad has been a solid bench scorer for the Wolves this season, averaging 8.3 points in 17.4 minutes a night. He's doing it on 48 percent shooting. Not bad for a kid still coming into his own. Once he gets the jump shot down, he could be a nice piece, though it doesn't seem like it'll be for the Nets.
