Referees union ratifies new labor agreement with NBA

The National Basketball Referees Association has announced the ratification of its new labor agreement:
Yahoo Sports/FOX Sports 1 NBA Insider AdrianWojnarowski reported over the weekend that the NBA and NBRA had come to an agreement. The voting process took place Thursday afternoon in Chicago.
The current collective bargaining agreement was supposed to be up after the upcoming 2015-16 season. The new one will expire in 2022.
According to Wojnarowski's report, the new labor deal will include "substantial raises for referees and the staffing of the league’s replay center in Secaucus, N.J., with refs." The agreement will also allow for more lucrative severance packages, a source told FOX Sports.
Another source told FOX Sports that the NBRA and the league are still "working out details" of what the refs' duties will be in the replay center, currently run by Joe Borgia.
