AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) The Detroit Pistons have waived forward Danny Granger.

The 32-year-old Granger came to Detroit in the offseason deal in which the Pistons also acquired Marcus Morris and Reggie Bullock from the Phoenix Suns. Granger averaged 6.3 points and 2.7 rebounds per game with Miami before being traded to Phoenix last season. He did not play a game for the Suns because of a knee injury.

Granger has not averaged double figures in scoring since the 2011-12 season with Indiana.
