Pistons' Stuckey bangs right shoulder, leaves game

Published Jan. 27, 2011 1:34 a.m. ET

Detroit Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey collided with Denver Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony late in the first quarter Wednesday night and left the game with a bruised right shoulder.

The Pistons said X-rays were negative.

Stuckey grabbed his right shoulder after trying to get past Anthony's screen. He went to the court, clearly in pain, and was evaluated by the team's medical staff before slowly walking toward Detroit's locker room.
